Longueville Manor is the 1st and only 5 red AA star Hotel in the Channel Islands. It is situated a mile to the east of St. Helier, the capital of the Island of Jersey. The island is fringed with miles of sandy beaches and is frequently blessed with the longest hours of sunshine in the UK. Set in 17 acres of parkland, this 13th century Norman manor house has been lovingly restored and run as a hotel by the Lewis family for over 75 years.

Today, the hotel has 26 double rooms, 4 suites and a 2 bedroom cottage, with a 3AA rosette restaurant, which enjoys a strong local following as well as an international reputation and is the only Relais & Châteaux member in the Channel Islands.

As a Commis de Rang, you’ll deliver a high-quality, discreet, and efficient dining experience that exceeds our guests' expectations. You’ll work in a welcoming and professional environment where attention to detail and exceptional customer service are celebrated.

• Assist the Chef de Rang in providing exceptional table service.
• Set up and prepare the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their meal.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clear and reset tables following established standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communication and service.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, wine list, and daily specials to answer guest inquiries confidently.
• Support the team in upholding the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

Experience as a waiter in a 4/5-star hotel is desirable, but not essential—we provide full training!
