Uberto Restaurant at Quercus is seeking a dedicated Server / Beverage Professional to join our dynamic hospitality team. This position participates in food and beverage service for both Uberto restaurant guests and Quercus hotel guests (all-inclusive stays), and reports to our Director of Operations.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional service to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a chef-driven, fine-dining environment, possesses strong wine and cocktail knowledge, and approaches service with poise, warmth, and intention.

In addition to guest service, this position will contribute to the continued development of Uberto and Quercus's beverage program. Your tasks will include (but not  be limited to): creating seasonal cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, refining recipes and presentations, assisting with beverage inventory and organization, collaborating with the culinary and hospitality teams to ensure all beverage offerings complement the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service for Donabe and Chef's Tasting Menu alongside fellow FOH staff / wine manager / and service managers
  • Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the Uberto dining experience with professionalism, care, and attention to detail
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on each dish and beverage offerings, including cocktails, wines, wine pairings, spirits, non-alcoholic offerings, and other curated selections
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, techniques, and service standards
  • Create and develop seasonal cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and other original beverage offerings in collaboration with culinary team
  • Assist with ongoing management of beverage program, including inventory organization, ordering needs, recipe documentation, cost awareness, pars levels
  • Execute fine-dining procedures throughout service: chits, allergy protocols, proper markings, synchronicity, refined guest communication
  • Gather thoughtful details about guest preferences to help personalize both current and future experiences
  • Assist with hotel-related food and beverage service operations as needed, including cabin service, special requests, and curated hospitality moments

  • Proven experience as a server and/or bartender in a refined dining environment
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverage preparation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Required availability: weekends (afternoon + evening)
  • Strongly preferred: Experience in fine dining and/or tasting menu establishments
  • Preferred: CMS Introductory Wine Certification (or higher)
