Twin Farms is located in bucolic Barnard, Vermont, about 90 minutes from Burlington, three hours from Boston, or five from New York City. Stays are reserved for adults only and are inclusive of all meals, fine wines and spirits, as well as all activities and equipment.

Twin Farms is seeking one seasonal Farm Hand to join us for the 2025 growing season (July through October). This hands-on role supports both our culinary and landscaping teams by helping operate our small restaurant garden and maintain the flower gardens and grounds across our scenic estate in Barnard, Vermont.

You’ll work closely with our chefs and groundskeeper to bring the best of what’s growing into our kitchen and to our guests.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with a strong work ethic, curiosity, and care for detail. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Experience with vegetable or flower production (home garden or farm experience both welcome)

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks like kneeling, squatting, and bending

  • A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Efficiency, adaptability, and a positive attitude

  • Strong communication and a team mindset

  • Reliability to work at least one weekend day

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of vegetable and flower production:

    • Bed prep, planting, weeding, harvesting, and wash/pack

    • Delivering produce and flowers to the kitchen

  • Support pest and disease management as needed

  • Contribute to general garden maintenance and landscape care


Preferred:

  • Prior experience in vegetable and/or flower gardening, farming, or landscaping (professional or personal)

  • Experience in organic gardening practices

  • Familiarity with restaurant garden operations or farm-to-table systems

  • Interest in sustainable agriculture or culinary arts
