The Xara Collection in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Conference & Banqueting Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

 

Forming part of the Xara Collection, the Xara Lodge is a multi-purpose venue located in the countryside offering breath-taking views, landscaped gardens, and pool areas, and enjoying a solid reputation for style and excellence that has attracted international visitors and notable personalities over the past years.

 

The impact you will make:

You will supervise & coordinate all set-up activities in relation to the Conference & Banqueting Department.

You will support the leading and training of all team members and be responsible for ensuring everything is set up to specified requirements, following the function sheet provided, and making any last-minute changes requested by the guests.

You will ensure our usual high standards are seen in all areas of the facility, and that the guest’s conference/event is set up and ready to go for them to enjoy a seamless experience!

Types of events you will be preparing for will range from small family gatherings to large weddings, parties, or exhibitions.


 

You'll have great leadership skills and the ability to follow instructions independently by way of delivering the detail on the function sheets prepared based on guest/clients requirements

Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise

Strong communication skills through a variety of means

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks

High attention to detail and accuracy – great at managing one’s own time and the time of the team.
