The Xara family is looking for a Chef de Partie to join one of the best back of house teams on the island.


Job Role:
The Xara Collection in Malta is looking to recruit a talented Chef De Partie to join the Xara family and work at their new fine historical venue, a 19th-century palazzo, located in the popular Balluta area. A unique opportunity has arisen to join the Xara Collection and be part of our exciting new chapter!

  • You’ll enjoy being part of a talented team and love the fact that no day is the same.
  • You will prepare, produce, and present memorable meals for our guests, applying your energy and enthusiasm to every task aiming to exceed our guest’s needs and expectations daily.
  • You will nurture and develop the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment that brings out the best in them and where they can be themselves, and contribute to making our kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment where we’re always looking to make the best experience out there.
  • You will make sure things are running without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth as chipotle butter, and our food hygiene standards are sky-high

About You...

  • You will have at least 2 years of experience in fine-dining restaurants and be able to manage a well-dedicated team
  • As our ideal candidate, you will have a passion for hospitality and attention to detail
  • Ability to run designated sections including day-to-day ordering 
  • Commitment to teamwork and good communication skills 
  • Energy and enthusiasm for learning and developing 
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.
